An easy ride

June 23, 2014

Position 43:54.7N - 064:49.4W
After a couple of short days heading out from Penobscot Bay we had an excellent first overnight on board Novara as we headed towards the SE corner of Nova Scotia. In 8 to 10kts of north westerlies and under full sail we averaged 7kts throughout the day and into the night until the wind died around 2.00am as we turned the corner to head north for the first time this trip.
We are now anchored for the night in Port Mouton, safely tucked in behind the headland.
We will continue north tomorrow to Lunenburg.
