Still motoring in flat calm windless seas!
We are now about 25nm off the Cumberland Peninsula. We thought about going up to the National park headquarters at the Inuit village at Pangnirtung about 2/3rds the way up Cumberland Sound. But when we looked the village is 110nm up the fjord and the head of the fjord is 170nm from the mouth so we will continue on to our overnight anchorage in Clephane Bay en route to Cape Dyer and Baffin Island's rugged east coast. Tonight's anchorage will see us less than 35nm south of the Arctic Circle. We thought about telling Phil that it was a custom to strip off and jump in the sea for first timers like him but we three decided that non of us were ready for the sight of Phil starkers!
