Heading West

We awoke to snow overnight and ice on the decks, for some days now we have been watching Geese flying south as winter approaches the Arctic and so must we. With the gale force westerlies abating overnight we left Cambridge Bay at 6.00am with a good forecast for at least 5 days ahead...we shall see. Our first target is Cape Bathurst, the first of the ice gates as we head west, 550nm away.
