Into PWS

The settled spell of good weather ended as we left Seward and the journey into the straits that lead into PWS was notable for low cloud and rain.

Even so there were the odd spells of sunshine in the evenings and the day was enlivened by the local wildlife. Numerous sightings of Humpback Whales, many close to the boat, a pod of Orcas out looking for lunch, Stellar Sea Lions waiting for the returning Salmon as were the Bald Eagles. The local Dolphins are smaller than we have been used to be just as inquisitive, frequently playing around the bow wave.
