After two days of almost constant rain and zero visibility during our ski tour, we motored back to our anchorage in Prince Olav Harbour into 25 knot headwinds.
The following morning we woke to clear blue skies, warm sunshine and no wind with the peaks snow clad and majestic!
With our equipment soaking wet and scattered around the boat to dry, heading back into the hills was not an option we could take so we stopped off at the Albatross nesting site on Prion Island before continuing on to our overnight anchorage in Rosita Bay.
Our plan was to use any good weather to make one or more day tours before we had to begin our return passage to the Falklands.
We have woken today to a cold, wet day with zero visibility! South Georgia weather wins again!
